HPD Glassgroup heat-strengthened laminated glass combines the resistance of heat-strengthening with the structural safety of lamination. This glass is subjected to a thermal treatment that gives it greater resistance than primary glass, and then it is laminated using one or more interlayers (PVB or SentryGlas®), achieving a product with high safety, stability, and excellent performance against impacts or breakage.
HPD Glassgroup laminated glass is a system of two or more sheets of glass (primary, tempered, heat-strengthened, solar control, Low-E) bonded by one or more interlayers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or thermoplastic ionomer (SentryGlas®).
This glass maintains its integrity in case of breakage, since the fragments remain adhered to the interlayer, reducing the risk of injury and preventing detachment.
